Rain, Hail, Or Shine?

Mother Nature sure is handing it out lateley. Yesterday it was hail. For over 10 minutes it pumelled my garden & left an icey white blanket in it's wake. Lucky it was only small so the damage was minimal.

The roses have lost most of their petals.

The geranium baskets were covered in it,

and so were the orchids. The positives are that everything got an icey drink, and the ikky red dust has finally been washed away.

Wow...spring/summer isn't supposed to give you hail is it? And that dust looks miserable...at least it's washed away! Is it getting warmer now? We're going to start getting some colder weather soon...already it's cooled down and we might even get some frost soon. Our 2 climates couldn't be more opposite, could they? I think I should try to visit you more often during the next few months so I can get some glimpses of spring/summer--I'll be missing those seasons. I'm not a big 'cold weather', winter, person. I'd rather it be sunny, warm, and with colorful blooms around me--all the time!
