I am not sure what this is, but it was pretty enough to snap. I found this growing in the bush in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney, on a recent visit. Maybe someone out there can tell me if it is a native or not. I have been trying to find reference to it but with no luck.

your flower is a species of Stylidium (Trigger Plant). They are confined to Australia except a few species in South East Asia and India, New Zealand and South America. South Western Australia has by far the greatest concentration and number of species.
A column in the centre of the plant is sensitive and can be triggered and reset several times. Each species has its column positioned to receive a particular insect pollinator so that insures against cross pollination. When the trigger is touched by an insect, the column swings upwards then down onto the insect to deposit or pick up pollen.
Absolutely fascinating plants. I have only seen one species growing in the Hunter Valley, and it is also pink like yours.
