Away from the heat now & into a rainforrest. This turkey sat on the fence as we entered the skywalk at Dorrigo National Park last year. More info on Australian Brush Turkeys can be found here.

Jenny, what a colorful head that turkey has. It is amazing. They are just plain old red here in my state.
I finally got back on Blotanical today after three days and I am now trying to catch up.Glad to hear you have cooled down to 106 degrees. Wow, the heat must be murder on gardens, but then I am sure you have native plants that are able to stand up to it. Thanks for joining into the fun with me and letting me know that Australia had a real cool down :)
