In the nursery, right beside the roses, were these beautiful kangaroo paws. Of course, they just had to jump into the trolley with the roses didn't they. A little differnt in colour than other kangaroo paws that I have seen, and hopefully different that the other two here.

I've just finished working on an article on these – they're 'Bush Gems' kangaroo paws aren't they? The great news is that these flower their heads off for ages and ages and ages. In fact they should flower like mad for about two years, almost continuously. And then that's it. So, my tip is to keep on feeding them, and as flowers fade snip them off and more should come roaring through.
