Strange Things Happening

With the drought, I have nearly lost my violets. There are however one or two tiny patches left up the side path. They do not usually flower until the middle of the year, but last week I found just one flower, even if something had decided it was worth nibbling. Maybe they are going to flower early this year because of all the rain we have had this month. I'll keep my eye on them.

i hope they survive, I just love violets! I am sure they are hardy, they used to cope with anything in my Mum's garden back in Adelaide.

It's amazing how many things survive the drought. With violets I imagine a lot depends on their position. Mine are coming back but no flowers yet.
