Friends Of The Lemon Tree

It's Spring, & everything is comming to life in my garden. This is just one of the spiders that has called my lemon tree home. He kept running away from the camera, hence the pic could be better. I was more interested in his spots & tiny size than anything. He is actually sitting on a lemon flower bud so you can get the proportion of size.

Exploring Sydney - Circular Quay to Woolloomooloo

Walking from Circular Quay to Wooloomooloo is not only good exercise, but great inspiration as well. Magnificent fig trees edge the pathway around Farm Cove on the edges of The Royal Botanic Gardens.

Spiders make fabulous webs in amongst the trees if we care to look.

On the eastern side of Farm Cove is Mrs Macquaries Point and Mrs Macquaries Chair, where if we take the time to stop & look west, we will see postcard views like these.

The city.

The Sydney Opera House sitting on the end of Bennalong Point, backdropped by The Sydney Harbour Bridge. Who would think that there is a bustling Circular Quay between the two, full of ferries, busckers, locals & tourists from around the world.

An 8 Legged Visitor

M...... I wonder what this little spider would find to eat here. Makes me wonder what other creapy crawly things are hiding down under the petals of this rose.

A Morning Walk

Christmas is over for another year, & feeling like a frump from eating too much, this morning was the time to start the morning walks again. Down the road to the nature strip along one of Sydney's orbital roads, around the park adjacent to the Georges River, then back up the hill to home. I took the camera with me this morning, & first up was this architectectual marvel, shining in the early morning sun.
